How can they do it?

If you ever ‘wonder how can they do it?’ there’s a good chance the answer is Narcissistic Personality Disorder or Antisocial Personality Disorder.

To understand the full extent of the child abuse problem, and to fully protect your children and grandchildren, an understanding of the low and no conscience disorders is essential.

We all know about sociopaths in the movies.  Nasty types who do all kinds of awful things to other people.  Maybe they are heroes because they can do in the name of justice what we could never allow ourselves to do.

And we have all sat in front of the news thinking “how could they possibly do that?!”

Science now has the answer:

Some people are wired differently.  They don’t feel empathy, so they don’t feel the pain inside that the rest of us do if we do something to hurt another person, or an animal.

These people come under the “low and no conscience” disorders.

This is something that can be tested for, but many of us can not spot a non-empathic person in passing. We are often fooled and taken in by their high energy levels, charming and charismatic ways, and self reported achievements.

There is a wide spectrum of behaviours among those of no or low conscience.  Think of the work place bully, the interfering Grandmother, the child abuser, rapist, murderer.  Some never do anything criminal, some do but are never caught.

To understand the full extent of the child abuse problem, and to fully protect your children and grandchildren, an understanding of the low and no conscience disorders is essential.
